Hares

Young hares, which are born fully developed already in February, are very cute and easy to catch, because a few days after birth they sit in one place, do not emit a smell, do not react to their surroundings and just wait for the mother hare (bunny) to feed them. which amounts to 1-2 times a day in the evening or night. If you find such a bunny, leave it where it is, do not touch it, and leave as quickly as possible!

However, if the bunny gets near a building, a busy road or near cats, dogs or a children's playground, carefully (using cutting boards, a shovel...) move it to safety, no more than 5 m from the place of discovery. Beware of breaking fragile limbs!

If you decide that the cub really needs human care (injured, lying on its side, taken from children, dogs, cats...), do not feed or water them under any circumstances and transport them to the rescue station as soon as possible.

Attention!!! Compared to birds, mammals have an excellent sense of smell, so the main principle is - DO NOT TOUCH baby hares unnecessarily!!!
